While each book focuses on a different couple, the series is best enjoyed in order.

I'm so happy to finally have Matty's story. He was so sweet and tender and he deserved all of the good things. Nightmare was nothing like what I expected and his reaction to Matty from the start was beautiful and exactly what Matty needed. These two were absolutely perfect for each other and I loved seeing them bond. Matty softened some Nightmare's sharp edges and gave him the sunshine he was unknowingly in need of. This series was so good. Finally Matteo got his happily ever after with the nightmare demon. This sorry had all of the best things, the main theme of which is possessive and protective main characters. Both Nightmare and Matteo grew as characters together. I'm not doing a very good job of explaining why this was 5 stars but I liked everything about it from Matteo overcoming his fears, to Nightmare's dark possession of Matteo. Dark and intense

This was a topnotch ending to this series of demons and humans bonding. It was Matteo and Nightmares story this time and was dark and violent at times. Matteo has PTSD due to his stepfather...not deceased and his top goon who was tormenter and torturer for years and he has the scars to prove. Nightmare protects Mattie during his nightmarish dreams and waits for a summoning. finally Mattie breaks and summons this monster of a demon and Mattie is enthralled with Night Promising to painfully kill...

This was a lovely end to the Demon Bound series. Matty and Nightmare were sweet beyond measure, and I so very much enjoyed seeing Matty get his perfect happy ending. An extra bonus was the visits from the past books’ couples (I always love to see Chaos especially, he just might be my favorite). The whole series will be a reread for me. I recommend it highly! )
