A surprise and yet not.

I love Regine’s stories, and The Mistwalker is one of my favorites. It seemed complete and not in need of a sequel. I also couldn’t imagine how she would pull off making a nightmare the hero. Silly me. In The Nightmare, she embellishes and creatively solidifies the world she had created in a very satisfying way. This is a dark fantasy, but she weaves her tale with plausibility and emotional depth. Fascinating. It reminded me a little bit of a couple of characters in the Anita Blake, Vampire...

This was different

This was a different story for me. A world where nightmares you create come to life...intriguing. Overall I enjoyed the book. It was written and kept you involved. )

Entertainment at It's best

I liked everything about this amazingly well-written page turner. The characters are so unique and versatile with chaotic, fun loving personalities that you instantly fall in love with them. This author is so creative and passionate about her writing that it shows in every word she creates for us readers to enjoy. This book is such a pleasure to read and it gives all the chaos, drama, darkness and sex appeal to make it an instant favorite. Highly recommend! )

Great read

I loved the way the author spun the tale of fighting your issues and overcoming them through recognition and therapy with a sexy walker who was derived from those issues. It was sexy, sweet, funny and somewhat scary but in a \"fight your demons\" kind of way. My review is probably too serious honestly as it was still a light read and I loved it! ) 2 people found this helpful

My Nightmares aren't like THIS !!!!

What a story !!! I especially liked that it was so different then the first Mist walker story Naima is a woman who has faced her prior trauma' s. First from her parents dysfunctional relationship and later with her then boyfriend throwing her out into the Mist. Only to be attacked himself. Zain is Naima's Nightmare. Years ago he would terrorize her in her dreams. But as she grew older and wiser , she didn't frequent the dream realm anymore.... He Missed her. But as she grew out of her PTSD, and...
