Step even further into the world of The Hunters

We met Charlotte, Edie's best friend, and Jaxson, Sawyer's fellow Hunter \"friend\" (although they function more like family), in Bird on a Blade. Charlotte feels partly responsible for what she believes is Edie's murder, and embarks on a road trip to try and track down any leads she can. She's not only feeling guilty about Edie's fate, but dealing with some level of trauma from her religious upbringing and abandonment by her family, when she happens to cross paths with Jaxson, Sawyer's Hunter...

Was this book insane? Yes. Did I love it? Also, yes.

Rose Bitterly did it again and she brought the heat with this one!! Holy…. I don’t even have the words. This series is just getting better and better! I need more of all of these characters!!!! Better than book 1.

Better than Edie and Sawyer, I believe Jaxon and Charlotte were so hot together. I just felt this story was more gripping because of the sexual tension between the two. It starts as an enemy to lovers story, but ultimately he helps her find the missing piece of herself. Spicy scenes are super hot! )
