Crown Me Dead: A Dark Fantasy Romance (Heartstring Duet)
Liv Zander
by Robyn Peterman
I’ve said it once, and I’ll say it again…
Whoever said life begins at forty must have been heavily medicated, drunk, or delusional.
Three funerals without the deceased present? Crisis.
One wedding run by drag queens with questionable taste in music? Semi-crisis, but doable.
Dead showing up on my porch who have already crossed over? Colossal shtshow.
This is what forty looks like for me. But now I have an even bigger problem. The Higher Power wants my daughter. It’s not happening. Period.
With the love of my Immortal life by my side, along with the profane Keeper of Fate, a gaggle of mostly-intact ghosts, and a few former enemies I’m going to end the madness once and for all. Hopefully, I don’t die trying.
Midlife’s a journey. Enjoy the ride. The crisis is definitely included.
However, anything, and I mean, anything, is possible as long as I believe.
Oh, and wine helps too.

This book was crazy, wild, unbelievable, rolling on the floor laughing funny, suspenseful and even a bit sad every so often. I loved every single page of it. The new characters get more wildly imaginative, yet fascinating and most we fall in love with. As far as character development read the previous 12 books so you can get a clear picture from the beginning. Then as this series progresses you can see the characters evolve. I love Ms. Peterman's books! She writes such interesting stories about the paranormal world. Always full of love, but with challenges along the way. And I especially love her sense of humor. I always can't wait for her next book to come out. You won't be sorry to buy any of her books. ) One person found this helpful

This series is so fun to read because of the ridiculousness of it. Candy Vargo makes this particular story. There's angst, laughter, surprises, craziness, and a complete story with a massive hook for the next book. Three is a magical number and I love the way the meaning for it is revealed. )

OMG! This series, this series! I am BEYOND hooked on this storyline! This has been one of the funniest, freakiest, disgustingly beautiful series I have read to date. If you want to be taken on the ride, grab Book 1, and buckle-up, Buttercup! You're in for one filth-flarn-filth of a ride! Hang on tight & enjoy! 😁 ) One person found this helpful

I have never laughed as much as I did for this story! Add in Alana Catherine's new powers and abilities and a new character who is funny as all get out and you have a hit. All the absolutely wonderful characters love each other so much, you might be laughing and crying at the same time. And Daisy's fantastic story continues. )
