I'm not usually one for supernatural stories; I like things I can see and touch. But this one, oy. So very satisfying. Bianca and Benny's story will remain a favorite. The only bit of the story i couldn't wrap my head around was the location - Visalia. I live very close to there, and while the name and the location may be accurate, nothing else is. So for me I have never been into the Phantom of the Opera. That being said, Landis writes in such away that draws you in. If I wasn’t a fan I am now. I thought Bianca was lovely all the way through. She didn’t suffer fools that’s for sure. I loved that she saw the beauty from within. So many people would have teased and ridiculed Manic but Bianca saw the man beneath. Such a beautiful love story.
