Moral of the story, unless you wanna get whisked away to limbo and become a possession of the Lord of bones for all eternity, don’t rob a graveyard. Raven is a grave robber by trade. When she and her boyfriend robbed the wrong grave, she is kidnapped by the Lord of bones and taken to limbo if she doesn’t escape within three days before the ball on all hallows Eve, she will become his for all eternity. I don’t know what I was expecting when I started this book but it sure as heck wasn’t that. I love when I feel an empathetic connection to characters that can only be accomplished by a well written book. This book was scandalous and I loved it. I felt somewhat guilty enjoying it but the Lord of Bones is so alluring, I could understand Rayven’s dilemma, and I’m anxious to sink into book 2.
