Definitely a new favorite

Let the Devil In may be my new favorite book by Airicka Phoenix. I’m always excited to receive ARCs from Airicka, and I was especially delighted to get this ARC of what was promised to be an erotic horror, paranormal, dark monster Christmas romance. There was even a note saying it was smut with a little plot. But hot damn, it was so much better than I could have even anticipated. For a story that claimed to only have a little plot, I actually really loved the plot. It was interesting....

I liked the concept of this book a lot. The plot twist was pretty awesome in my opinion and im glad it wasn't spoiled. I would recommend reading it. It was entertaining and very smutty )

The plot and the characters had so much potential, however I personally felt like the book got a bit too repetitive for my liking. I love books with tons of smut in it, but this is one of those books that is literally about smut with more smut among smut on top of smut so idk I just felt like the author could have done better with the obvious talent they have but like I said at the beginning this writers idea had potential so I’m sure they will come out with even better books in the future. This is my first read by Airicka and I need so much more! Let the Devil In is twisted and dark with a nice amount of warmth and pure devotion mixed in with more spice than you could imagine - I read this twice before even attempting to write a review. This was one of the most creative worlds I have read lately. I don't want to give things away because this journey is worth experiencing with minimal details... so know it is very k!nky, has a really intriguing plot, and some intense moments. This isn't a cozy Christmas read, really barely a Christmas read at all, but if you like dark romance nothing in here should be too much. Just be sure you are ready for a roller coaster of a journey. )
