Tallulah is confident, happy, and looking for love.
At least, on the outside.
Evrin is kind, thoughtful, and has plenty of love to give.
At least, on the inside.
In a world where it feels like they're the only ones who don't know where they belong, can Tallulah and Evrin find that sense of home in each other?
Or will they be too afraid to take a chance?
Invidia is the fifth book in the Shades of Sin series, featuring humans and their not-quite-so-human partners. Each book is a standalone, but best enjoyed in order. For mature listeners.

Tallulah is one of the original exp hunters that came to the shadow realm with Astrid at the end of the first book. Beautiful but insecure and filled with anxiety she just never feels like she truly belongs. She didn't belong at home under the control of her wealthy and powerful grandfather and she's worries she may never find her place her in the shadows . one night her anxiety takes over and she end up in the garden where she meets Evrin. Evirn is the Guard of the in between he's handsome...

This was a great read, but it gets 4 stars from me just because the relationship between the two main characters was so REPETITIVE. Spoilers>>>> For the most of the book they weren't together because of his looks blah blah and he didn't want to shame her then about 80% they love each other all of a sudden and she's pregnant. That's basically it. Then baby is born. Fin. ) One person found this helpful

I was very excited for Tallulah and Evrins book and they definitely did not disappoint! This one is definitely is a heavy does of non-communication, but it's done well! Because you're inside the character's heads and they even know that they're being ridiculous in their insecurities It's not to the point where you're just wanting to yell at the book and just say \"talk to each other\".. both of their reasons for being the way that they are is very valid and so that helps with the...

Book five of Shades of Sin was better than some of the others, but not as good as the first. I loved the main characters in this one, aside from the miscommunication trope (which seems to be a wildly large theme in this series). If you want a light hearted read that doesn’t take a lot of brain power, this is definitely for you. )

I waited for this book for so long. Reread all the previous books multiple times. And I breezed right through it because it’s wonderful. Some parts are so sad. I think everyone can relate to not feeling like they fit in at some point in their life. But this story was hot, sweet, sad, and heartwarming. I loved it all. ) One person found this helpful
