She went to adopt a K-9 partner.
She did not mean to adopt a demon.
Officer Kelly “Chuck” Charles thought choosing her new K-9 would be straightforward.
Obedient. Loyal. Not possessed by ancient evil.
She was wrong.
Her new K-9 partner growls in dead languages, smirks like he’s plotting world domination, and reacts to holy water like it personally insulted his ancestors.
Because Malachi isn’t just a dog.
He’s a centuries-old demon trapped in a canine body — morally black, dangerously clever, and very annoyed about it.
The problem?
Chuck doesn’t know any of that yet.
She’s just a cop trying to survive long shifts, bad coffee, and a partner who may or may not be judging her soul.
She definitely doesn’t know she’s part angel.
And she absolutely isn’t prepared for the supernatural chaos headed straight for her life.
When a well-meaning witch gives Malachi his body back, everything goes from “weird dog behavior” to full-blown celestial disaster.
Redeem him.
Banish him.
Or fall for the demon who was never meant to have a heart.
How To Tell If Your K-9 Is A Demon is a laugh-out-loud paranormal romantic comedy packed with: Accidental demon adoption Snarky banter and slow-burn tension A morally black demon with opinions A strong female cop who didn’t sign up for destiny Celestial Hijinks
If you love paranormal rom-coms with heart, humor, and just enough hellfire — this book will have you laughing, swooning, and side-eyeing every dog you meet.

My daughter suggested I read this book. Her brief synopsis had me interested but it was Amazon's synopsis that drew me in. I do not read paranormal books normally. My genre is Regency Romance. I found this book an absolute joy to read. From page one to the end, it was hard to put down. I will follow this author. ) One person found this helpful

I really wanted to love this because it sounded good but I just couldn't get into it and it took me longer than it should of to finish it.. don't get me wrong it was kind of cute and I liked it but I didn't love it.. Chuck and Malachi felt awkward and I just didn't feel a strong connection.. and he tells her he can't say or feel certain things and then he's gets all butt hurt later when she thinks he can't say or feel a certain way when he literally told her that! And even at the end he still...

Really this was a 2.5 for me. I liked that she wrote it from his perspective and I thought the premise was really cute. But that’s where it ended for me. I skipped to the end. The Who dun it was predictable but what made it 2.5 for me was the repetition of how much he loved her and wanted to be with her and protect her. The hummer was cute til it wasn’t. It was just cheesy. All in all it was a fluffy piece and I know lots of people like the lighter side of romance. But I like my characters to...
