Nooooo freaking way!!! The ending just threw me! My lanta 🙃 I had not anticipated that ending to happen, like wow. Ok so this novella is so good. MM & Demon X Human I mean come on! Anything involving a demon has me hooked for the second, but this one had me hooked prior to even starting. ) One person found this helpful

Nightmarish Monster Love with a Twist

I'm an avid fan and reader of LO Gold, but this was my first time reading anything written or co-written by K.T. At first, I wasn't sure how I felt because of things I perceived as plot holes and glaring inconsistencies. Which, admittedly, I was totally going to blame on K.T. (sorry!) in the end, but that changed when I got to the end and read the twist. And with THAT revelation in place, my opinion did a complete 180. I absolutely loved loved loved this book from start to finish. There’s something about a monster romance that just gets my gears going. There was so much spice and I loved every second of it. I seriously need more of Christian and Kallum. Christian and Callum are both a moth to the flame that can’t get enough of each other. Kind of a letdown

Read on KU. Short novella with lots of spice but the ending kinda ruined it for me. I was enjoying all the spice and the soft moments between Kallum and Christian but the story began to get lost and muddled. I understand now that it's supposed to be that way and gear you for the surprise ending but it didn't really deliver. I won't spoil anything cause it is a short read and I'll let the reader be the judge of how they take/understand the ending. For me it just could have been better executed....
