So glad there was another book in this series!! As always, it was a perfect balance of spice, paranormal shenanigans, and cozy. My only \"complaint\" was the absolute missed opportunity to use 'once more unto the breach' somewhere in the book, since that's what they all called the sketchy portal in the middle of town (The Breach) 😂😂 ) One person found this helpful

I love Darlington and its magic and monsters this universe is so well written and fun. The characters are well developed and every time you go back to Darlington you feel like your visiting old friends. In this book its our residents bad boy warlock Seth and his demon other half Liam. We seen both of these flamboyant characters since the first book. One rocks the goth vibe the other a preppy one both don't unlike to many rules and don't suffer fools gladly. They love each other madly but still...

Seth is always intriguing as a side character, so reading his book with Liam and Hazel was fun and sweet as the rest of the series. )

This book was exactly what I expected from the series. It’s a fun easy break from the heavier books I’ve been reading. My only complaint is that the issue that originally brought everyone together was never really solved. )

I really enjoyed the other books in this series. I have found that there is often at least one meh book when any series start to get past 3 books. This series already has 10 books so not super surprising. I didn’t really feel the connection between the characters so that took away from the entire book for me. )
