Loved this story! I hope there are more male hunter and female Shade stories in the future because this one was so good! I enjoyed seeing things through a female Shade's POV. Great character development and you really get to know both of them. Austin' s character and personality are great. Interesting take on the monster romance genre

I was drawn to this because the heroine is the monster and has a traditionally male job of being a palace guard. The hero is a golden retriever and needs her protection which was funny. Interesting world building as well. )
