Guilty As Sin (The Accidental Exorcist Book 3)

by Jennifer Chance

About this book

Some victories come with a price. Some prices demand blood.

After successfully taking down a city-wide demon threat, I wasn't expecting a parade, but I thought I'd at least get a couple days off. No such luck.

When the supernatural world decides that Lucian and I have broken too many rules, we're dragged before a tribunal where innocence is irrelevant and judgment is inevitable. The price we pay could bind us in ways we never anticipated…and lock Lucian into a role that makes him a target for every demon with a grudge and an agenda.

But that's not the only reckoning I'm facing. Someone has spent fifteen years sitting on secrets about my past. About the mentor I trusted. The demon I couldn't evict — and can't stop wanting. The truths that were supposed to stay buried forever. First, it's just whispers on the street. Then it’s police at my door, asking questions I can’t afford to answer. And finally, it's a demon at my neck. One I should have seen coming.

Turns out some of the monsters I've been hunting weren't the ones I should have feared most. And now they’re hunting me.

For fans of supernatural justice gone wrong, enemies-to-lovers heat that burns away every sane boundary, and heroines who fear they may never outrun the darkness, Guilty as Sin is the thrilling third book in The Accidental Exorcist series.

Each book is better than the last!

May 20, 2026

I’m really loving this series and can honestly say that each book is better than the last! There’s a lot going on in this book and I stayed up way too late reading just one more chapter! Not only do Lucian and Delia have to stand and be judged by the Demon tribunal for their actions in the previous book, but the local police are treating Delia as a suspect in a recent death. There’s also an alluring, possibly haunted house, a friend of Steve’s that needs their help, and some pretty big...

Intriguing and captivating

Be ready for the complicated and stressing issue of the tribunal that Delia and Lucian have both been summoned for. Their possible outcomes are very concerning. While worrying about the upcoming trial and possible outcome(s), they now have a new client. Steve’s friend Grace has some issues that he feels needs the help of Delia, Clair and Lucian. While working towards helping Grace, a few new characters are introduced into the story. Angel, a cute but possessed Beagle, is found and Sandy, a new...

Wow, I just finished book 3 of the Accidental Exorcist and I’m shocked and pleasantly surprised by the ending. I have absolutely loved the interactions between the characters throughout this series. Claire is one of my favorites. I think there’s a twist coming about her quick friendship, but I could be wrong. I can’t wait to devour the next book in this series! I was a lucky recipient of an advanced reader copy of this story and I’m providing a personal opinion of my enjoyment of the book. )

Good ending

It was a good ending kinda left it open for more or maybe a spin off series. I liked getting more info on Mordechai and Delia's relationship. Angel was a great, funny addition. )

This series is entertaining, horrifying, somewhat spicy and all around addictive. The characters are people I wish I knew and their reactions and banter are believable and entertaining. Please write faster so I can get the next one! )
