Guarded: Hopeless Blessed, Book 3

by Lark Taylor

About this book

Your fated mate is supposed to be your other half. The one you’re destined to be with. If that’s the case, why did mine run away from me?

Noah

I spent centuries wasting my love and attention on someone who didn’t want me. I had to leave my angelic unit to break free of his hold. Now, with the Seraphim, I’m finally happy. My ex is in my past, and I’m looking towards my future. One where, if I’m lucky, I’ll meet my fated mate. The one who is meant to complete my soul. There won’t be any question as to whether he wants me or not. That’s what fate has led me to believe. But that’s not what happens. The demon who’s meant to be mine takes one look at me and flies as hard as he can in the other direction. It’s a reminder of what I’ve been through in the past. I’m done chasing men who don’t want me. So, when Jeremiah realizes his mistake and comes groveling, I’m not in the mood to listen. Why should I, when every time I let someone in, I get hurt? But I’ve underestimated just how stubborn demons can be. Little by little, Jeremiah erodes the walls I guard myself with. I just wish I knew if I could trust him with my heart.

Guarded is a thrilling angel x demon MM PNR romance. The third in the Hopeless Blessed series, each book follows a different couple. While they can be listened to as standalones, they are best enjoyed in order.

Emotional Healing, Patience, and Love

This is the 3rd book int Hopeless Blessed series. It can be read as a stand alone; however, to fully emerge and enjoy some of the plot (known enemies and ongoing battles) I recommend reading the previous books. Jem, my poor misunderstood Demon. He ran when he first discovered his fated mate, with good reasons (well at least to him and his traumatized soul). But realized he couldn't outrun fate and faced his destiny. Little did he know Noah's own past trauma was not going to make it easy for...

This series is masterpiece

I haven't found any book by Lark that I didn't like. This one was as good as the others. I can't wait to read about eveyone else and them finding their Mates. Noah and Jeremiah were two people who deserves all the love they can get. The struggles they had to go through were a lot but the end result made it worth it. And this found family is one of my all time favorites from all the books I've ever read. And I'm always more than happy to see the sons of Lucifer and their mates. Maybe I have to...

A super sweet read!

This is Book 3 in the Hopeless Blessed Series. They are interconnected stand alones so they don't need to be read in order but I do recommend it. Also check the TWs with this one it is not overly dark but there are some heavy topics. 🌶🌶🌶 Noah joined the Seraphim (an elite group of guardian angels) after a very Toxic situation ended with his last team. This was his fresh start and road to something better. Jeremiah just escaped literal Hell and finally got the freedom he was waiting centuries...

Lark does it again.

Lark Taylor is the Queen, of fated mates and that pull, of epic battles between good and evil, of love and really hot hot sex scenes and of plunking things at the end of a book that leads you to the next one. There are many many super and PNR MCs to come and I am here for it. I will always value seeing Lucifers sons again, they live rent free in my head. I also value the Seraphim knowing I will see them again, especially Sam making them do laps. This was a great way to tell the story of why Jem...

I love Lark's writing!

••Opposites Attract •• Angel/Demon • Fated Mates • Past abus3/trauma discussed • Mental health representation (from a side character) • Found Family • Miscommunication • A notebook full of reasons why Jeremiah fell in love with Noah. I'll be honest in the beginning of this book it took me a bit to get into this story, I think that was mainly because of how much was going on at the start, (which is not a bad thing) along with the MC's just not having all the relevant information as to why...
