The characters were well written and the things they had to overcome were too. I enjoyed the main character’s love for each other and how they helped each other. )

I really enjoyed the story. It was a very fun and captivating story. Anyways, I really like the main females character personality, she had spunk and she stayed truth to herself from being to end. She was very, very patient to the main male character and that paid off because for her. He was able to opened up to her, and he fall in love and trust her. They found their happily ever after which, of course love. )

And I thought Layla Faes previous books were spicy. This was another level of heat entirely

Wow! And I thought Layla Faes guarded by the Snake was spicy. Vodyan and Zoe's book absolutely tops it for me on the heated scenes, but then again I have always been partial to tentacles. Absolutely loved this book. Vodyans backstory and trauma was heartbreaking but I like how Zoe was able to help him move forward from it. Zoe's personality was great. Honestly they were both really well fleshed out characters. I'd give this particular book a ten if I could. ) 2 people found this helpful

Loved this story and that it took place in Lake Superior (spelling should of been in Canadian spelling since they were in Canada) loved the world building, how the Shanta was farmed and why is was so important. Loved Vodyan's history even though it was hard and made you want to hold him it made him who he is and lives the vulnerable part of him with Zoe. Zoe is super strong person, she is putting herself in harms way to testify against a horrible person and finds the love and needs she always...

This was one of the spiciest yet most heartwarming books I've ever read, and I thought my favorite so far was the spider one! This, sooo! Tall, dark, grumpy and mysterious turns into the most bad@$$ and breathtakingly dominating, affectionate, obsessive man. He's what I wish men in dark romances were (more kinky and affectionate instead of degrading their partners) And the best part? His girl loves every single piece, pretty much immediately. It's not insta love, but perhaps insta attraction....
