I did not like the beginning. So much pain, but it was an integral part to the story. Even through he was a beast, it was his honesty and kindness that won her heart. Loved the twists and turns they took to their own happily forever. ) One person found this helpful

This book was adorably cute. Blaylock knew Katrina was hid from the very first moment he saw her? But he didn’t push or force her. He gave her time to adjust to his world and sort out her feelings. He was so sweet to her. Short and sweet and so very spicy! )

*I read this book 3 weeks ago and I’m only now posting a review oops* After Blaylock rescues Katrina from the very bad monsters, she finally receives the love she deserves. Blaylock treats her like an equal and truly cares for her. Even when Katrina first went his castle, even though while she was still weary of him, he was gentle with her to show he wouldn’t harm her. Also, the garden that Katrina finds in the castle was so magically beautiful. Don’t forget that the smut was hot hot hot. I...

I enjoyed reading this story about Katrina (human woman) and Blaylock (monster king of the Dark Realm of Shadow Vale). The main characters were likeable. It was never said what type of monster Blaylock was, there was a description though. Katrina's father had mistreated her ever since her mother died when she was very young. He was a major a-hole. She ended up killing him when he came at her when she was older, I assumed her age was late teens, early twenties when that occurred. That same...
