Pyrah
He claimed me as his mate. Now another dragon wants to take me back.
I escaped the chains that bound me to my captor. Now Rook is mine and I am his. But the world won't leave us in peace.
Scaldric is hunting me. The golden dragon who marked my neck without my consent, who tried to force me into a mating I never wanted. He believes I belong to him. He won't stop coming until one of us breaks.
Rook
I will burn the kingdom before I let him take her.
They whisper my name in fear—the Gray Prince, the bastard son of a king and his succubus courtesan. Pyrah is the only one who has never feared me. Fierce, feral, impossible to tame. A prophecy claims I will sit on a ruined throne, but the last thing I need is a crown when a rival male circles my mate and a ruthless queen sends her knights to hunt us down.
Pyrah says she can protect herself. She's not wrong. But I'm an incubus, and protecting what's mine is the one instinct I can't control.
Some flames aren't meant to be tamed. They're meant to devour everything.
Devouring Kiss is a dark monster romance featuring multiple POV, mates in peril, primal play, a female dragon shifter, and a possessive incubus.

It does not end here!!!!! Excellent sequel even though had me on the edge of my chair. Shadow daddy alert. It picks up right where it ended in the first one. They are mated but not left alone, high stakes but he will destroy everything for her.I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily. ) 2 people found this helpful

This starts off right at the end of the first book and continues expanding on the world and story more. You find out more to Rooks backstory and his sister. I very much enjoyed the story and can't wait for the next book!! )

This picks up right where Book1 ends. No recaps, just going for it, which I enjoy. Another rushed quest that is resolved in a few pages, with lots of encouragement, and recapped memories amongst the main characters, mixed in. I received advance copy, and am leaving this review voluntarily. The best chapters involve Lark, the sister of Rook (MC). These chapters don't even feel like they are written by the same person!? We need a Zin x Lark stand-alone. )

I loved Rook in the first book, but oh man, I didn't realize it was even possible for him to get even hotter in this one!! He was so open and vulnerable--it was like I could see inside his soul. This book further cemented in my mind that he and Pyrah are meant to be together <3 The stakes of the kingdom (and the underworld) got even higher in this story. I don't want to ruin anything, but I cannot WAIT for book III!! )

This one picks up where the first book left off and we get look into Rook's perspective, both past and present. Faced with impossible tasks ahead of them, Rook and Pyrah are trying to carve out a sliver of happiness in an endless whirlwind. Their bond is tested when Rook tries to deny his incubus nature and Pyrah rearranges her priorities. There is a healthy amount of spice, but also a load of sizzling tension. Rook's twin sister also has a bigger role in this story, sharing a glimpse into her...
