I was so excited to jump back into this story after the cliffhanger at the end of the first book and let me tell you, I absolutely devoured it (no pun intended)! This book was action-packed and we finally learned more about Arabella’s parentage. I loved the role reversal of the FMC willing to burn down the world to protect and save the people she loves. I had been waiting for this book a lot, so getting an early ARC was a dream - finally, some relief for my curiosity! 🙈 Like Kissed By A Demon, the first 35–40% felt slow. There’s a lot of information tying this story back to the previous book - so much so that, with all these steps back, it could almost work as a standalone. But then? It hits. This book was so GOOD!!!! I absolutely loved the twists and turns it takes you on and the surprises you can’t see coming. I absolutely recommend this book to anyone into paranormal Romantasy. )

I have been patiently (impatiently) waiting for this book since book 1 ended on that crazy cliffhanger! This story jumps right into where we left off in Kissed by a Demon, tying up all of the loose ends that we didn’t get much perspective into in book 1. The way Rosalyn was able to effortlessly world build as much as she did in this book, being as it was book 2 already, was so impressive.
