Cute little book, Not too crazy of spice but I enjoyed the story greatly. Writing is not greatly detailed but overall very good )

This is Tree's book. We met her in the last book in the old runner down marina. In this story she's being watched over and protected by Bale. Bale is a kraken type monster stranded in Earth dimension. His people were at war and while he was fighting his enemies ambushed him and sent him to Earth where he has been yelled for several years. When he sees Tess for the first time and sees her grief all he wants to do is protects and comfort her. When she's threatened well lets just say he'd doing...

That must be some awkward kissing…

I liked the beginning of this book, because of how different Bale was; so hesitant and a little confused. Once he got going though, he sure knew what he was doing. )

I love how sweet and simple these stories are. It's just enough to really let you see the characters and have a little angst before it gets wrapped up. Sometimes you really need a pallet cleanser after a complicated story and these have been so good for that. I am always left waiting to see what the author will come up with next! )
