Demon Reform Academy: Term 3: Demon Reform Academy, Book 3

by Lyra Winters

About this book

Succumb to the chaos at Demon Reform Academy, where Dark Veil was born—and where I might die.

Dark Veil's plans for me had twisted into something far more malicious. Their intentions shifted from recruiting me to actively seeking my ruin. My powers came with a purpose: to annihilate the encroaching darkness threatening to possess demonkind.

While dark magic swept through the Demon Capital, I became a marked target—assassins hunted me, laid traps, and figures skulked in the shadows. But even those threats paled in comparison to the longing of my heart. The Fates bound me to five, but I'd only sealed two. To take the next step with the others, I had to understand the darkness in their souls and why it called out to me.

This term, survival was no longer about enduring chaos and pain. It was about evading the dark magic cult bent on my death and embracing my destiny that the Fates themselves wrote.

if I could give it more than 5 stars I would

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. Okay, now that that’s out of the way. Lyra is fantastic at healing the damage she does with the cliffhangers from previous books. This book healed my heart a bit. That being said this book is a wholeeeee journey. Assassinations attempts from left and right. Dark magic is just popping up in the most inconvenient places and times and just overwhelming the council and Pandora and her mates. We have character growth and relationship development that had me cheering them on....

These fight scenes are written so well

This is such a good book, the plot is amazing and is so unique. But the biggest thing I love are the fight scenes. A lot of writers glance over the actual fighting and it can get kind of boring (to the point that I will just glance over the page because I know it won’t make any sense) but the way Lyra writes them it is so clear and you actually get to understand who’s doing what. I love a good romance, but when I’m able to understand and follow as the characters battle it makes it that much...

Much better than book 2!

February 28, 2025

Book 3 is much better than book 2, which was pretty repetitive within the first half of it. Pandora is getting much stronger and having an actual backbone. The only thing I don't care for is the romance between Death and Jenni. It doesn't make sense to me and kind of gave me the ick. Death is supposed to be a badass soul eater...but he gets paired up with a immature, obsessive succubus, who is best friend with his daughter. But that's just my opinion 🤷🏻‍♀️ ) 4 people found this helpful

magic 🪄

I love this amazing world and how even in book three I’m seeing new areas and a greater feeling for the demon district. The backstory for Nebula had me in tears, the growth seen in Pandora and her guys is profound as they battle there way through term 3. I wondered through the first two books why fate had given her the five mates she has and I truly feel as though this book opened up a whole new perspective. Anybody else wondering how Fester is gonna pop up in this last book because we all know...
