Crown Me Dead: A Dark Fantasy Romance (Heartstring Duet)
Liv Zander
by Amanda Aggie
A year ago, we managed to escape the realm of monsters, unscathed.
The mistake of trying to strike a bargain with the High King has been buried in the past . . .
Or so we thought.
Tensions rise when the people in our kingdom seek blood, claiming a beast massacred one of the villages around Hell Hold.
Pitchforks burn and the fine line between good and evil blurs until it's nearly obliterated all together.
However, one thing is crystal clear. We're not only gearing up for war with Heaven, but a civil war within Hell itself.
Contains mature themes.

I love the dynamics between Kai and Alice and the cliffhanger is going to keep me up at night for a couple days. I cannot wait for the next book. In The Demon Prince it was just the beginning of their story. Kai is one of the best book boyfriends. He is bossy, handsome and protective. Kai peered up with his wife Alice who humor is on point and is stubborn as she is beautiful you couldn't ask for a better couple. In Crown of Ashes we see how stubborn and loyal Alice really is. She will stand up...

Book 1 & 2 can really do with some editing. Lots of errors and plot errors found throughout the whole book!! But with that being said, I do still recommend this book as the storyline is still really good and captivating. As I really enjoyed & loved the rollercoaster ride this story took me on, I couldn't get off the ride until I fully finished it in one sitting.. In Book 1 I could barely stand Alice our MFC as she was just so annoying and childish. But in Book 2 she's really come a long way in...

I could not put this book down. I love the banter in this book, so much better than the first. Also Finn is my new best side character! Freaking love that guy. So this book delves deeper into Alice and her unchecked powers. Although Kai was gone for better part of a year, I think it was somewhat needed for Alice especially for her character to grow. There were parts I got emotional for Alice and was upset with Kai, but as the author weaves the story you begin to understand the why. This book...

My first review of this author and experience with the first of the series was a disappointment regarding proofing grammar and repeated words. However, the storyline was riveting, so I continued onto the second book. And I have to admit, I was not disappointed. None of the previous complaints were repeated. The description is amazing and we get a picture of all of Hell, the battles and supernatural beings. The heroine is a kick-ass chick who does not bow to misogynistic men. My only complaint...

I have two very important words for the author of this series. Number one is editor. If you have an editor already, you need a better one. The second word is dictionary! Please look up words before you use them, because you obviously do not know what they mean. Reading a story is like running. The story is the road you run on. You start off slow, then you start to speed up. As the story gets deeper, drawing you in, a jog will turn into a full on sprint. Once you’ve gotten into the zone, you’re...
