This is a romance with a sweet, patient lover in Sel. Both our MMC’s have tragic pasts but they put them aside and learn to grow stronger in themselves and the kind of love they could offer a mate. Single mother, patient male who lost everything once but is willing to risk it all again when that mating mark appears because everyone deserves happiness! Very yummy spicy scenes, some detailed some more vague. 1.75/5 🌶️ )

A sweet sweet story

I absolutely love Sel and how wonderful his baked goods are. The names of them are just delightful! Holly and Max are a dynamic representation of how we can learn to survive and plan so we can get ourselves to safety when we know danger may be around the corner. Their story once they come to Lonesome is funny and sweet and really well done. Love these Orcs!! )

Sel, Holly and Max’s love story was so sweet and heartwarming. It made my sappy romantic heart so happy to read the story with its great balance of sweet, spicy, and real life issues. I think I was smiling through the whole thing except when I was tearing up. Sel is a widowed orc who is a classic cinnamon roll.
