I loved everything about A Soul to Touch! Mayumi is a savvy, grumpy, independent person and worked hard to become an elite demon slayer. She's completely different from the previous two heroines, which means that her romance goes *very* differently. Mayumi and Kitty are flawed and they felt more real than those we've seen before in this series. Mayumi is the definition of a strong and independent woman who takes care of herself. I thoroughly enjoyed her character development, the way she was challenged to accept help from someone besides herself. Kitty, or Faunus, is a Duskwalker with a crack in his skull, and only one wish. ** spoiler alert ** I absolutely loved this one. Faunus and Mayumi were so perfect together. The story Opal created with this world is truly amazing. The spice in this book I'd say was a 4.5 /5. Many scenes were different, it wasn't respective like I've read in some books. They got more adventurous the longer they were together. Each scene was so detailed and so so good.
