What a ride! I loved this book!

I read this in one sitting, and I had a blast being back in the world A.A. has created! Book 1 had me HOOKED, and book 2 is INCREDIBLE! The side characters were great, and I cannot wait for book 3! This book had me laughing and then had me sobbing. All the feels. I also enjoyed the mental health representation throughout, and facing and overcoming trauma. Even though the characters are demons (and other fantasy beings) the emotions in the book were really relatable. Make sure you read the books...

This book has it all. Excitement, fear , drama, sadness, love and spice. Lots of love. Lose yourself in a world of demons and gods, evil and good. You won’t regret it. The book makes you feel all the feels and takes you to places with descriptions that you can see. These books should really be made into a movie. I loved the second book in the devious series and anxiously await the next one. Way to go AAPowers. )

I couldn’t get enough

Please check trigger warnings… This book is definitely a fast paced dark fantasy romance novel and if that is your thing this one is definitely worth the read. This is book 2 so you will want to start with book one that way you know that background between the mmc Zarreth and fmc Frankie and you will get a feel for how these two ended up meeting each other and you will devour this book and won’t want to put it down. )

Once I picked it up I couldn’t put it down. AA Powers did it again!! The suspense of what would happen, the steamy dark romance, and the character development had me eating this book up. The transformation in Frankie was my favorite part of the story and was beautiful and powerful. 👑 I’ll absolutely be reading the next book! If you like dark romance, this book should be on your TBR! )
