Witch Please: A Cozy Paranormal Rom-Com (Fix-It Witches, 1)

by Ann Aguirre

About this book

Danica Waterhouse is a tech-savvy witch who prefers fixing broken appliances to mending her own emotional wounds. Having sworn off romance after a series of magical family disasters and a toxic past, she keeps her heart strictly under wraps. Her life in the charming, spell-prone town of Live Oak is perfectly curated to avoid any form of commitment, until a certain baker drifts into her orbit.

Enter Titus Winnaker, a genuine cinnamon roll of a man who runs the local bakery and still holds onto the hope of finding his forever love. When their paths cross, the chemistry is immediate and undeniably electric. What begins as a cautious friendship quickly heats up into a forbidden-love spark that threatens to dismantle Danica’s carefully constructed defenses. As their worlds collide, spells begin to go hilariously haywire, proving that some connections are simply too powerful to resist.

This cozy paranormal rom-com is the perfect escape for anyone craving a second-chance romance filled with wit, warmth, and a dash of urban fantasy. Ann Aguirre delivers a delightful, laugh-out-loud tale that balances magical mishaps with genuine heart. If you are looking for a story that is as sweet as it is enchanting, this is the ultimate read.

Very cute read with a cinnamon roll hero

I enjoy many of Ann Aguirre's works and this book was so cute! I loved the idea of a techno witch and how each woman had her own brand of talents in different \"fields\" of magic. The small town setting was adorable and both characters felt alive and vivid. The hero, Titus, especially really came to life and I sympathized so much with him (fellow perpetually single compatriot over here!). The dialogue was quick and snappy, cheesy where it needed to be (the MCs have very cheesy senses of humor),...

Cute story leaves you wanting more!

Just a head's up, I did win the giveaway for an early ARC of the book. Okay, where do I begin... Titus is a baker new to town with some family issues. Danica is a witch with tech-geared magic with some family issues. So what happens when they have the funniest meet-cute where they fall madly in love (lust?) with each other but try to hide it because obviously he/she wouldn't be interested in them due to their own issues. THESE ARE MY FAVORITE KINDS OF STORIES. Titus and Danica just have so much...

Lovely series starter

Witch Please has been on my spooky season TBR for a while now, so I was really excited to finally get to it. This was a great book for someone who is looking for a light hearted witchy book. I really enjoyed this book, there is some world building, but nothing overly complicated. It was easy to follow, and I loved the coven disguised as a book club. I really liked the storyline, side characters, and the small town setting. I liked both Danica and Titus individually, and I thought they had a...

Wonderful and Funny!

This is romantic comedy with a twist. A magical twist. It is funny and heartwarming. You can’t help rooting for Danica and Titus. She is afraid to be with a mundane. She has been told that her line is cursed and that if she is with a mundane her powers will fade away to nothing. And her grandmother is determined that she marries in to a “pure” bloodline. And poor Titus can never get a break with relationships. They always leave within a few weeks of meeting him. He is afraid he is cursed. But...
