About this book

Cordelia Levine has spent her life carefully curating a quiet existence in London, masking her identity as a powerful witch behind the counter of a supernatural apothecary. She believes her dual heritage is a secret safely buried, until she is violently abducted by Bishop Danvers, a brooding and dangerous werewolf acting on orders from her estranged father. Dragged to the isolated Trevelyan estate, she is thrust into the volatile politics of the Albion Pack, where her unique bloodline makes her both a prized asset and a prime target.

This gripping urban fantasy blends high-stakes tension with a delicious helping of dark romance. As Cordelia navigates a world of savage beasts and ancient magic, she finds herself locked in a volatile dance with her grumpy captor. The friction between them is electric, perfectly capturing the classic grumpy-sunshine dynamic while the threat of rival packs looms ever closer. Forced to rely on those she once feared, Cordelia discovers the true meaning of found-family amidst the betrayal of her own kin.

With a sharp, witty voice reminiscent of Regency-era charm wrapped in a modern supernatural package, this story is a must-read for fans of paranormal romance. Whether she is fighting for survival or unraveling the secrets of her lineage, Cordelia’s journey is as unpredictable as it is addictive. Dive into a world where spells collide with claws, and the line between predator and partner blurs.

Delightful and fun 🐺

🐺 Thank you, St. Martin's Press for the ARC of this ebook 🐺 If Jane Austen had written a paranormal romance, I think this might have been it. A witty, delightfully stubborn witch who isn't ready to be tamed by any man, and a broody, charming werewolf who wins her over anyway. Cordelia and Bishop are delightful together, whether they're arguing, teasing one another, or letting their true selves out from beneath their carefully-laid masks. The plot kept me guessing, and waiting for the next...

Cordelia hides in the human world rather than joining a cover. She comes from a long line of powerful witches, but has taken a false last name for security. But now her werewolf father wants to claim her, and he's sending his pack after her. Her father claims it's to protect her, but really he wants to use her to solidify his own power by marrying her to his right-hand man Bishop. Can Cordelia trust the man who kidnapped her? not for me

This should be exactly what I like but it just wasn’t. Witches and wolves and a dash of spice? But the characters felt one dimensional, the wolves were just misogynist creeps and the spice was cringe. Beautiful sprayed edges though. ) 2 people found this helpful

I really liked the dynamics of the main characters.

Yes, you had the wondering of what was true or false and figuring out who was zooming who but the communication between the leads was clean and crisp. You had two, strong, smart people working together for a common goal. There was very little doubt about each other’s motives which made for a clever, exciting story. I’m not a fan of overbearing angst. )

A Vacation Read That Gets Noticed

I honestly bought The Witch of the Wolves purely for its stunning appearance—the cover art is gorgeous, and the sprayed edges make it a truly beautiful addition to any bookshelf. However, the story itself is absolutely phenomenal! I took this book with me on vacation to Cabo, and it was so compelling that I could barely put it down. I was engrossed from the first chapter. In fact, a couple of people even approached me to ask what book I was reading! If you're looking for a book that is both an...
