The Witches of Scotland Romance Series: Byres Road (The Gathering of the Seven Book 1)

by Steven P Aitchison

About this book

Hidden within the cobblestone charm of Glasgow’s West End, seven women live ordinary lives, blissfully unaware that their bloodlines hold the key to an ancient, dormant power. Isla Macrae, a skeptical bookseller, believes her world is defined by ink and paper until she discovers a dusty grimoire left by her grandmother. This single revelation shatters her reality, forcing her to confront a secret legacy that has waited generations to resurface.

This enchanting start to the Witches of Scotland series perfectly blends cozy witchcraft with a high-stakes mystery. As Isla and her newfound sisters begin to awaken their unique magical gifts, they must navigate the complexities of coven-life and an encroaching darkness threatening their city. It is a masterclass in found-family dynamics, where strangers become sisters bound by destiny, learning that their strength lies in their connection to one another.

For those who crave a slow-burn romance woven into a paranormal landscape, this story delivers on every front. Between the fated-mates tension and the atmospheric Scottish backdrop, it is an irresistible page-turner. If you love stories about independent women discovering their inner fire, Byres Road is the perfect spellbinding escape to add to your reading list.

Good book, very interesting. I have to say though, all the mentions of \"trembling hands\" just seemed a bit ridiculous! And man, whiplash at the very end!! Totally leaves you hanging! )

Once you start the book you can't put it down.
