Bespelled (Standard Edition) (The Bewitched Series, 2)
Laura Thalassa
by Amy Putt
She is the final Arcane Witch, a woman forged in agony and destined to reshape a broken world. After a lifetime spent as a prisoner of her own kin, she is finally free, but her liberation comes with a lethal price. Hunted by a psychopathic ex-lover and thrust into a centuries-old war between magic-wielders and cold-blooded hunters, she must decide if humanity is even worth saving. Her power is a catalyst for chaos, and as she navigates a landscape of blood and betrayal, she finds herself drawn to the one man who should be her greatest threat.
This dark urban fantasy is an unapologetic descent into the shadows of paranormal romance. Amy Putt crafts a visceral experience that leans heavily into the enemies-to-lovers trope, turning every interaction into a high-stakes gamble of obsession and desire. The narrative is as beautiful as it is brutal, challenging the reader to confront uncomfortable truths alongside an FMC who refuses to be broken by the horrors inflicted upon her.
Prepare for a story that is as delicious as it is dangerous. With elemental magic, intense volatility, and a plot that refuses to pull any punches, this is essential reading for fans of dark romance who crave a gritty, high-octane journey. Proceed with caution: this is a raw, mature exploration of power and survival that will leave an indelible mark on your psyche.

I can’t think of the right words to explain the feeling of being uncomfortable in the most dark, delicious and unapologetic way! But most of the best books are very unapologetic! This book drops you deep into a plain of magic, misery and alpho-hole monsters. This is not a safe book, it’s not even a HEA, it’s also a book that keeps you hooked and hostage as each page you turn locks you in in a fantasy filled delectable adventure of deception, betrayal, and gas lighting. Doesn’t sound good? Well...

Someone else said that the author must truly hate the FMC and I have to agree. She basically thought of everything a woman could possibly suffer through and wrote it in the book. If you can get through that, it’s a solid story. I think I read that this is the author’s debut novel, which I am very impressed by, because it is a solid 4/5 stars. I can even get over a few typos and grammatical errors since she is the only author I’ve ever seen use the word ‘bemusedly’ correct in a sentence. The...

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ - This series was 5 stars without question. I only buy physical copies of books that really make me feel something and make me fall in love with the characters and their world. I've bought this series on my Kindle and I will also be buying the physical copy for my \"trophy case\". 🍆 - Not very spicy...more fade to black/sweet and loving (THERE IS SOME NON-CON REFERENCES (not between the FMC and MC) SO CHECK YOUR TWs). This series had me streeeeeeeessed. I sweated. I cried. I got...

I had to take a few days after reading this to decide to leave my review. This was a hard one for me to rate. While I liked the book while I read it, once it was over and I looked back on what I read I can honestly say I felt baffled. The first thing was essentially how long this book was. For how long this was, by the end of reading it, I feel like we honestly learned very little. Yes we saw over and over and over and over again, our heroine getting the crap beat out of her by several men in...

I'd give the series a 4.8 because of all the grammatical errors. I hate grammatical errors to the point that I will stop reading if there are too many. There are wrong words, missing words, missing letters. And I don't mean the English/American word differences, though there are many. Trigger warning: if you can't handle rape, don't pick this series up. There are references, flashbacks, and scenes in nearly every chapter. The spice level is a solid 1. The emotional level is a good 20/10. The...
