The Kiss Curse: The Next Witchy Paranormal Romance from the author of The Ex Hex (The Graves Glen Series, 2)

by Erin Sterling

About this book

Graves Glen is once again buzzing with supernatural tension, and for Gwyn Jones, life is finally hitting its stride. As a pillar of her newly formed coven and the proud owner of the witchcraft shop Something Wicked, she has everything under control. That is, until Llewellyn Wells Penhallow arrives. The impossibly handsome descendant of the town’s founders opens a rival shop right across the street, sparking a professional rivalry that quickly ignites into undeniable, high-stakes chemistry.

This enchanting urban fantasy perfectly captures the cozy yet chaotic spirit of coven life. When a singular, electric kiss between the two rivals leaves them both reeling, they attempt to dismiss it as a mere magical fluke. However, the stakes are raised when a mysterious new coven descends upon Graves Glen, threatening the town’s peace and causing Gwyn’s own magic to flicker and fade.

For fans of found-family dynamics and slow-burn paranormal romance, this story is a must-read. Gwyn and Wells must set aside their petty competition to uncover the truth behind the newcomers' motives. It is a witty, spooky, and heartfelt exploration of power and connection that serves as the ultimate treat for your next chilly autumn night.

Sweet and medium slow burn plus mystery

I had to read a witchy book for the Halloween season and since I scare easily, romance it is! This was a solid sequel to The Ex Hex with some shared characters but mainly just the setting. Gwyn was a supporting character, Vivi's cousin, in book 1 and she shares the dual third-person POV with Wells, Rhys' brother. I love a dual POV for a romance and this one worked great. We get more rivalry them enemies to lovers. There was a past connection (never fully explored) but a bit of snobbery on both...

With a personality as fiery as her pink-streaked hair, Gwyn runs a Halloween-themed shop called Something Wicked -- and Graves Glen -- with a cauldron of...

The book is fine, we are halfway through. Might be too similar to the first book in series for my taste. I am hoping a big twist (or something) is coming soon. ) One person found this helpful
