Finlay Ashowan just wants a quiet life of culinary perfection and domestic bliss with his new bride, Lady Annika Jenoure. As a house witch, Fin’s magic is best suited for simmering stews and hearth-side comfort, but fate has a cruel way of dragging him from the pantry and into the fray. When a political hostage crisis threatens to ignite a war between kingdoms, Fin must trade his apron for armor to navigate a treacherous web of royal intrigue and deadly family secrets.
This third installment of the beloved series masterfully blends cozy domestic charm with the high-stakes tension of dark romance. Readers will be swept away by the evolving dynamic between the powerful witch and his noble wife as they face an imminent threat from the sinister kingdom of Troivack. With his mischievous feline familiar, Kraken, leading the way, Fin must outwit his own father to secure his future.
Perfect for fans of paranormal romance, this story offers a brilliant cocktail of humor, magic, and breathless suspense. It is a triumphant, action-packed conclusion that proves even the most reluctant hero can change the course of history. If you crave witty banter, courtly stakes, and a love story that burns as brightly as a fire witch’s flame, your next obsession awaits.

I read through all three of these books one right after the other. The characters are wonderful. I wish I could meet each one of them. This story has everything. There’s humor, romance, danger, suspense, action, and magic. I gasped, I laughed, I cried. I am definitely keeping these in my library to read again. I am looking forward to Mr. Delemhach’s next series. He has built a world that I am eager to revisit. ) One person found this helpful

The characterizations in this story about fantasy witches with individual magic capabilities are awesome. The story builds slowly with the protagonist Fin who has magic in a story set in kingdoms, castles and classes of the times. Midway through the first book the reader meets Krachen the cat and wonders why the author spends so much time characterizing a finicky black kitten seemingly thrust into the story. Each book in the series connects characters into deeper emotional and crazy chaotic...

Book 3, is utterly the masterpiece out of the whole series! Although, you can’t have a finale like that, without the 2 leading books of the series. What a way to conclude the series and go out with such a bang. I’m not sure I’ll ever forget this series! I highly recommend not a moment of hesitation if you’ve thought about picking this series up to read. Start as soon as possible! Delemhach is one gifted writer. This particular novelist knows when, where and how to keep your interest piqued,...

I loved this series. From the beginning I was hooked by the main character Fin and his journey to find family and himself. I loved the themes of self discovery and self acceptance, what it means to find and make a home, and how powerful a found family can be. I laughed out loud, cried and was taken in by the journey these characters went through together and the world they live in. Just enough magic, romance and adventure. Stakes that are high but the author does a great job of keeping the...

I enjoyed the Kitchen Witch series. The author keeps you engaged in the story very well. This third book was more serious than the others, and I am sorry to see the end of Fin’s tale but looking forward to more stories, hopefully about the next generations? )
