When I reviewed book one I had to be mindful not to give spoilers and that meant I couldn't go on and on about the shocking cliffhanger we were treated to. But now I can. If you haven't read book 1 of this series, stop reading this review and go find book 1. Book 2 is not a standalone. So at the end of book one, our hearts are ripped out as we find out that the Gray we had fallen in love with alongside Willow, was in fact, not only manipulating her the entire time, but wasn't even \"Gray\"....

I’ll admit I got this book when I was still early into The Coven (book 1). I thoroughly enjoyed that one and was excited to jump right into the next one but honestly it didn’t deliver quite like I’d hoped. I still enjoyed the read, and the audio. I will say that the audible and Spotify premium audio recordings did not entirely match my hardcover or kindle copies of either book.
