Everything about this series is perfection. Action, adventure, intrigue, romance, mystery, magic, and quick wit all enveloped in humor! Gratuitous outcomes, strong characters and a fun, fantastical story of two worlds colliding. All of the House Witch books have kept me captivated, and belly-laughing along the way. Great story but execrable writing

Yet another wonderful episode in Delemhach's tale of Daxaria and Troivack, but the writing has worsened again. Don't let it keep you from reading, though! The storytelling is fresh, whimsical, and exciting. The characters are so well-drawn. It's the best kind of escapist literature, as there is a hopeful and optimistic air throughout, along with genuine piety towards the very real deities; although there is still suffering and pain, there is much emphasis on the need for those with the power to...
