This 2nd book in The Burning Witch Trilogy is just as super as its predecessors, including the 3 House Witch books. The reading is fun and intriguing with a peppering of humor that's made me truly laugh out loud!! This was one of those books where I pre-ordered, started reading right away, and stayed up later than I should have reading it. Ahh! The joys of a good book. I really enjoy Delemhach's writing. I don't know how they do it: characters that seem alive, yet grow and change, plot twists that make sense, and tons of humor! Very good sequel. Been enjoying the entire series. Only nitpick would be the unnecessary italics for certain thoughts or emphasis on certain words. Doesn’t feel needed. Other than that good read. )
