Bespelled (Standard Edition) (The Bewitched Series, 2)

Step into a world where fairy tales are sharpened into weapons and glass slippers shatter under the weight of dark secrets. Cinder is far from the typical princess; she is a tattoo-loving, pumpkin-spice-obsessed human bartender with a sharp tongue and a mission. When she infiltrates a high fae court to avenge her father’s death, she finds herself trapped in a nightmare of elegance and deceit. Her plan to stay hidden vanishes the moment she is forced into an arranged marriage with the arrogant, captivating Prince Charming.
This spicy paranormal romance flips the script on a classic legend, blending high-stakes magic with undeniable chemistry. As a human navigating a treacherous court of witches and royals, Cinder must play the role of the perfect bride while plotting a rebellion from within. The tension between her and the prince is as combustible as it is forbidden, pushing them into a dangerous game where one wrong move could cost them their lives.
If you crave a story that balances witty banter with intense, slow-burn heat, this is your next obsession. It is a brilliant, gritty reimagining that proves true love is often the most dangerous magic of all.

This book completely stole my heart. Cinder is everything I didn’t know I needed in a Cinderella retelling; equal parts Goth queen and pumpkin spice addict, with a sharp tongue and a soft side she hides well. I loved that she stayed true to herself in every scene, never shrinking back, even when the stakes were deadly. And Kai? Oh my gods. He let her lead, he let her be herself, and the way their dynamic unfolded had me hooked. The marshmallow moment? Absolute perfection. Their tension, their...

*Read through Kindle Unlimited, borrowed* This is the first book in this series that I have read, with our book club, and I really enjoy it! The author does a great job of keeping the story enticing, funny, sexy, and surprising! I can't wait to read the others in the series! I would recommend this read for sure. The only thing I wish is for more! Potentially longer chapters but I also enjoy the shortness of the chapters. And the spice is great too! I'll always giggle thinking about marshmallows...

Igniting Cinder has it all! Angst, mystery, laughs, spice and tons of Charm. I loved Brexley and Ted, but I think Kai takes the cake (freely given). The story was well layered in dimensional situations with multidimensional characters. Nothing was simple and I loved it. Holly Roberds kept the twists coming. Just as she roped you in enough one way, forgetting about another possible plot, she slammed it home at just the right time. 😍 ) One person found this helpful

I am loving each book more and more! I have always loved fairy tale retellings but these are on a whole other level and it’s fascinating. The detail and the drama, the way they all tie together, the character development, lust and adoration, just doesn’t get any better than The Lost Girls! )

I’ve read all 4 books of this series and this is definitely my least favorite one. The MMC just didn’t do anything at all for me. Playboys just aren’t my type. I love a good brooding MMC. I also didn’t love the storyline, even though Cinder is a total badass. My rankings for this series: 1. Tasting Red - the tension, the heat, the MCs, the buns. A top notch read 2. Chasing Goldie - broody MMC who likes being left alone but she breaks through his walls in hilarious ways 3. Blackmailing Belle -...
