Hexes Go Well with Tequila : A Lost Souls Novel (The Lost Souls series Book 1)

by LeAnna Ehrsam

About this book

At thirty-eight, Ursula Cambridge felt entirely invisible until a mysterious invitation whisked her and her loyal Irish Wolfhound to Salem, Massachusetts. Now, she resides in the Lost Souls House, a property harboring a graveyard of secrets and a coven of newfound sisters. What began as a desperate escape from a fading life has transformed into a journey of self-discovery, fueled by magical camaraderie, midnight margaritas, and the occasional graveyard hex that actually works.

This enchanting paranormal romance perfectly balances whimsical charm with a simmering, slow-burn tension. As Ursula navigates the town’s political warfare and a brewing modern-day witch hunt, she finds herself clashing with the local bachelor—a grumpy, Brawny-man-lookalike who has sworn off romance. Despite his surly disposition, their undeniable chemistry and the sweet bond Ursula forms with his vulnerable niece pull her deeper into a mystery that threatens the very people she has grown to love.

If you are looking for a cozy, witchy read that celebrates the power of found-family and the resilience of women in their thirties, this story is your next obsession. It is a heartfelt, atmospheric tale where magic feels as real as the friendships that save us.

Perfect fall witchy read any woman in her 30s will relate to!

There is a magic house, a spooky graveyard, a garden that has a mind of its own, and so much more. And while this book is perfect for your fall tbr and gives us all the witchy Practical Magic vibes we could hope for, it is also a story about the profound impact of female...

20/10 recommend. Series review: not a simple “feel good” series

Note, this is a SERIES REVIEW ——- I read the first book, then bought all three, looking forward to the next one, and can’t wait for the audiobooks. After reading all 3 books, here are my thoughts. TLDR in one glorious run on sentence: I want witchy friends to get drunk with on ridiculously strong margaritas, eat cake, cast hexes on deserving men in a graveyard, and live in a magical house. I also want animal sidekicks (list not inclusive: a horse sized dog, a cat named tom hanks, and a pregnant...
