Kildale Academy is a place of secrets, rituals, and shadows, but nothing prepares freshmen roommates Salem and Skye for the nightmare that follows a devastating fire. With their dorm in ashes and nowhere else to turn, they are forced into the only vacancies left on campus: the infamous Hell House. They soon discover that their new housemates are not just arrogant elites; they are vessels for the Seven Deadly Sins, and these men are hungry for more than just academic dominance.
This dark paranormal romance masterfully blends the high-stakes tension of an academy setting with the seductive danger of supernatural possession. As Salem and Skye navigate the halls of Hell House, they find themselves caught in a volatile why-choose dynamic where the line between hatred and obsession blurs. The forced proximity is suffocating, pushing them into the arms of the very men they should fear the most.
If you crave a gothic aesthetic, intense enemies-to-lovers chemistry, and a found-family dynamic forged in chaos, this is your next obsession. It is a high-heat, explicit journey into the deep end of dark romance, perfect for readers who like their magic wicked and their heroes morally grey. Step inside, but be warned: once you enter Hell House, there is no turning back.

《4.5☆》 This was an interesting and unique story with some intense plot twists. I love the concept of the 7 deadly sins in a gothic academic setting. There's a lot of characters to keep track of in the beginning and lots of POVs, which can get confusing at times. Once you start getting into it, it becomes easier to remember who's who. I really enjoy how each character really embodies their \"sin.\" For the most part, I enjoyed the characters, but I have to say Salem kind of rubbed me the wrong...

I so wanted to give this 5 stars! This is in a college setting, but has a unique twist. There are 7 male characters, each possessing 1 quality of the 7 deadly sins. I won't go into much more detail on that, but I really enjoyed that aspect. I never intend to be hyper critical of female characters, but I typically am, and am happy to say that I really like Salem and Skye. I like the efforts made to make an inclusive character. The setting was spooky and intriguing. I would have loved to have...

so.many.typos. Grammatical typos, wrong words being used - things like \"ridged\" instead of \"rigid,\" as if the book was written using voice-to-text or something. I try so hard not to rate a book down based on this, but it was just too much. So much I nearly DNFed it halfway through, which is something I try to never do. Am I glad I stuck it out? IDK. The story itself was intriguing - a fraternity where its 7 members are possessed by the 7 deadly sins: greed, lust, sloth, gluttony, pride,...

This is the first book I’ve read by Dakota. First and foremost, please check the trigger warnings. To say that I was completely hooked from the very beginning is an understatement. This is a why choose, dark academia book and I loved getting the multiple pov from Salem, Skye and all the guys. Secondary characters were all amazing and I hope we see them in the next books as well. I mean who can go wrong with the 7 deadly sins? Salem and Skye are both freshman’s at Kildale Acadmey, an esteemed...
