Desperate to save her dying sister from a terminal illness, Ivy Saint James is forced to trade her autonomy for a miracle. As a powerful witch in the heart of Dublin, Ivy is no stranger to the supernatural, but nothing could prepare her for the bargain she strikes with Silas Grey. Silas is a notorious, devastatingly handsome incubus who demands a steep price for his healing touch: Ivy must become his primary source of sustenance.
This dark paranormal romance masterfully blends high-stakes magic with the intense, intoxicating atmosphere of a forbidden deal. Silas is not your typical demon; he is a skilled pleasure dom who approaches their arrangement with a calculated intensity that is as dangerous as it is alluring. What begins as a transactional necessity quickly spirals into a volatile, scorching exploration of power, surrender, and deep-seated desire.
Readers will find themselves captivated by the growth of a protagonist who balances realistic emotional baggage with newfound strength. Beyond the explicit heat and the tension of their BDSM-infused dynamic, the story delves into the complex layers of embracing one’s own inner shadows. If you are looking for a gripping, steamy read that seamlessly weaves witchy lore with a compelling, character-driven romance, this is your next obsession.

This is the first book I’ve read by this author. I will definitely read more. I loved Ivy’s character. She had realistic baggage and was able to heal. I smiled a lot while reading. The plot was good and the sex was creative, well written, and not remotely about degradation. )

Ivy has been looking for an infernal to help save her sister from cancer but so far none were willing to help her. So she turns to Silas, an Incubus who agrees to help save her sister if she agrees to live in his house and be his food source and use her magic to help him when he needs it. Ivy is a witch but she didn't have the skills to save her sister so after helping Silas with a little magical spell, he heals her sister and Ivy becomes his. But it isn't a bad thing because Silas isn't as bad...

I loved this book! Ivy is a witch who makes a deal with Silas, a succubus demon to cure her sister of cancer. The book focuses on BDSM, but Silas is a Pleasure Dom which I appreciated. I like that better than degradation, or more pain based punishments. It was obvious Silas liked Ivy from the start, but both of them were dealing with their own insecurities and were hesitant to go all in. Ivy has body image issues and Silas had a previous partner break up with him because he was a demon. I liked...

This was a hard book to walk away from. It was a beautiful mix of erotic and fantasy writing. I love that the story was just as good as the steamy parts, and the steamy parts weren't overwhelmingly clique like some spicy books are. Also, an excellent view into forms of sex play. It's all around a fun, hot, and engaging read. ) One person found this helpful

I have mixed feelings about this book, but I did both enjoy and finish this story. Warning: Minor spoilers. What I liked: The love interests had a very healthy sexual relationship that centered around consent and checking in with each other. The characterization of each character was really strong. I felt like I knew all of the characters in the book. The ending felt satisfying for me, and I consider the ending to be the hardest things to get right. Things I didn't like: The pacing for this...
