by Laura Thalassa

About this book

Soul mates are supposed to be a blessing, but for witch Selene Bowers, her connection to the ancient, vengeful sorcerer Memnon feels more like a curse. After the chaos of the Samhain Ball leaves her imprisoned for a crime she did not commit, Selene finds herself ensnared in an unbreakable marriage pact with the very man who framed her. Forced to confront a past life she does not remember, she must navigate a dangerous game of power where the stakes are nothing less than her soul.

This second installment of the Bewitched series masterfully blends dark fantasy with high-stakes romance. As Selene struggles to master her craft at the Henbane Coven academy, she finds herself in the ultimate enemies-to-lovers dilemma. To survive the sinister forces targeting her, she accepts a bond that grants her total control over Memnon’s will. The catch? If she falls in love with him, the magic shatters, leaving her defenseless against their common enemies.

Packed with fated-mates tension and the intricate lore of coven-life, this historical paranormal romance is an addictive, twisty ride. Laura Thalassa crafts a world of complex magic and found-family dynamics that will keep you breathless until the final page. Dive in for a captivating, spellbinding journey.

A twisty, turny and captivating read

This book. Phew. Strap in for a teeth clenching, edge of your seat, twisty turny epic dark fantasy because this author does a phenomenal job creating multi-layered characters and plot lines which will completely immerse you in the story. Just like the first book in this series, I was captivated from the first page until the last. The amount of creativity and imagination this author weaves into the story of Selene and Memnon is unreal and deliciously dark perfection. This is a continuation of...

Well weaved story that will put a spell on you too...

Another banger (forgive the pun) focusing on your favorite witch and sorcerer soul mates. If you haven't read the first book in the series, Bewitched, start there and then come back for more in Bewitched. Story-telling at its best, Laura Thalassa captures what it means to love wholly and completely in all of her books, but more so with her latest. Selene and Memnon are fated, but does that mean that they have to like each other? For Selene, that is the question and one that takes nuanced and...

One of the best supernatural witchy books there is!!!

Laura Thalassa has done it again!!! A 5⭐ review that is well deserved! I think I mentioned this in my review for the first book, but I'm going to say it again. I LOVE this story, it is completely unique! I love a good witchy supernatural book and I have read many throughout my life, and they were all vaguely similar. This series is so far beyond different! Past lives, millenia old curses, love that spans across time, and a commitment that nothing can deter. This wonderfully intriguing book is...

There's something lumpy about this author's writing. Let me start with the good things first. I love this storyline. Could it be better? Yes. But it's already good enough to devour. I liked our MFC way more when she was ignorant and forgetful. She seemed like a real person then. After she remembers everything, something just seems off about her. It's almost like the author just threw something huge into her books, like Selene being a long-lost queen, and then didn't care to co-mesh the...

“Bespelled” by Laura Thalassa – aka the book where I questioned my morals, my sanity, and my very soul for still being down bad for Memnoch, the walking red flag in a black cloak. So let’s get this out of the way: this book is messy. It’s twisty. It’s dramatic. And it is absolutely unhinged in the most delicious way. Did I understand 100% of what was happening at all times? No. Was I entertained while being emotionally whiplashed and slightly gaslit by a morally ambiguous love interest? Yes,...
