Love the story! An amazing new take on the \"Paranormal World.\" I just finished this book and now I am off to read the next and after that and so on! )

I very much enjoyed this book. I will be reading the next one. It had good imagery, character development, and a good plot. Plenty of mystery kept me interested, and i love the world building. I would have given it a 5 star. My only criticism is for the repeativness that happened - taking out some repeat information would make this book a couple of pages shorter. ) 2 people found this helpful

Good story

My favorite tv series when I was growing up was Buffy the vampire slayer, so when I came across this book I was excited that not only do I get a vampire slayer but also a why choose book. Mel is a vampire slayer who only one purpose in life - to kill vampires, because she thinks all vampires are bad - at least that’s what her agency told her. Little does she know that it’s not true. When she meets someone from her past she starts to question everything she knows and we get an enemies to lovers...

This is a good story very suspenseful very action packed I have enjoyed reading it. The characters are good as well as all the action. )

4🍁 | 🌶️ I didn’t think i would enjoy it as much as i did. And i’m only stopping to write this review before i jump to book 2 just so i don’t forget the main points. It was a fun read and the twist of the vampires (how they are turned) and their relationship with witches was definitely something new and interesting to read. Either the magic system is explained more in author’s other books or it’s just not detailed. I did get a general understanding but it seemed like the magic system was not...
