Destiny is a cruel mistress, and for Skylar, uncovering her true heritage has turned her world into a battlefield. Once an outcast defined by ridicule, she now stands at the center of a brewing war, hunted by a secret society determined to destroy her and the found family she has fought so hard to protect. With her fated mate bond to the intense wolf shifter king, Raffe, finally complete, the stakes have shifted from mere survival to the total annihilation of everything they hold dear.
This final installment of the Forbidden Mate trilogy delivers the ultimate enemies-to-lovers experience, blending high-stakes pack dynamics with heart-pounding suspense. As tragedies mount and their enemies close in, Raffe and Skylar are pushed to their breaking point. They must decide whether to sacrifice their hard-won peace or ignite a revolution that could burn their world to the ground. It is a gritty, emotional journey where the broody, protective hero will stop at nothing to defend his mate.
If you crave paranormal romance fueled by volatile chemistry and the "touch her and you die" trope, this series is your next obsession. It is a triumphant, action-packed conclusion that proves even in the darkest shadows, love and justice can prevail.

Wonderful series. I enjoyed each book, all. The characters, rising action, just couldn’t wait to find out the end. I even think it would be a great movie. )

Battle Royal, death and destruction but out of the darkness, light and good prevailed. Raffe and Skylar formed the council and all were treated equally. ) 2 people found this helpful

This is the third set I've read of hers, and I love it. I believe you can't get into a book if you can't picture the characters,I got to know these people very easily. )
