Bond Breaker: A Werewolf Romantic Urban Fantasy (Ghost Pack Book 3)

by Aimee Easterling

About this book

Wren’s life as a shifter is defined by the thin veil between the living and the dead, but in this gripping conclusion to the Ghost Pack trilogy, that veil is tearing apart. After a desperate ritual at the academy goes horribly wrong, the ghosts are unraveling, a pack member is dead, and a predatory force is stalking the shadows. What began as a journey of survival has transformed into a high-stakes investigation where every familiar face hides a potential betrayal.

This paranormal romance masterfully balances intense pack dynamics with the emotional weight of a found-family struggling to stay whole. As Wren fights to protect the spirits she guides and the living wolves she calls home, she must finally confront the slow-burn tension simmering between her and Locke. The chemistry that has been building for three books is finally ready to ignite, but the cost of claiming her mate may be higher than she ever imagined.

If you love urban fantasy filled with mystery, deep emotional stakes, and complex shifter world-building, this finale delivers a satisfying and heart-wrenching punch. Wren faces an impossible choice that will determine the future of her pack and the fate of her heart. Prepare for a final act that proves love is the strongest bond of all.

A satisfying conclusion to a series I loved!

May 20, 2026

I’ve really loved the Ghost Pack series and was sad to see it end, but this book really did the series justice! When the story begins, Wren is adjusting to life as part of Locke’s pack, but she’s still struggling to trust others, especially when it comes to the protection of her ghosts. So when a ritual goes awry with devastating consequences, she struggles to figure out who she can trust. Thankfully, Locke is the most patient and perfect mate for her because she’s going to need his help and...

Bond breakers - good or bad?

Bond Breaker by Aimee Easterling is everything I expected and so much more! As book 3, this is the finale of her very unique Ghost Pack series, and it wraps things up in a phenomenal way. While this book heavily focuses on ghosts, it also stresses the importance of being pack and the strength that comes from pack bonds. The storyline is incredible, fast paced and very well written. Wren and Locke finally get some closure regarding their issues. Wren's ghosts, Ellie and Braden, undergo...

Fantastic conclusion to this series.

Their bond is complete, but trouble is coming. Willing to do anything to protect her ghosts, Wren decides to perform an old ritual that goes terribly wrong. When the ghosts her students brought with them start to disappear, and pack members are attacked she realizes that a powerful bond breaker is behind it all. The only bond breaker she knows is Locke, he is her mate, and she knows that he would not harm ghosts or his pack. But when she discovers a nightmare from her past is responsible, she...

Not all ghosts are good.

The grand finale of the series is a humdinger. Wren and Locke may be together, but they can't BE together. If he touches her bare skin when her pack bonds are open, her ghosts disappear. The ritual she tried to do to restore Braden's autonomy was not only a failure, but something strange happened to disrupt it and she has no idea what. Other ghosts start disappearing unexpectedly and everyone assumes it is Locke's fault, since he is a bond breaker, but Wren isn't so sure. That isn't the worst...

A SATISFYING CONCLUSION AND AN INTRIGUING MYSTERY

May 19, 2026

Aimee is so good at giving us a series that has books that are well paced with the kind of endings that leave you at once satisfied and eager to start the next one. Then she knows when to wrap it up and let go. This is a really good conclusion to the series. Thank you to the Author for this ARC. This is my honest review. )
