The castle, the sea, the volcanoes, and the creatures were given so much detail that I could picture them all in my mind long after I closed my kindle. This was so incredibly good! I think I love Cole’s demon’s the best out of all her characters. Abyssian being the primordial demon takes the cake. I mean seriously you can’t get any more badass than that. This is the first of Cole’s books that I have listened to via audiobook. Robert Petkoff is an excellent narrator and I had no problem immersing myself into this world.
