Cody’s life is a masterclass in disappointment. Between crushing student debt and a dead-end job, he is barely keeping his head above water. His world spirals into chaos after a chance encounter with a homeless werewolf named Roscoe, leading to a life-altering bite that leaves Cody transitioning into a beast himself. With eviction looming and his humanity slipping away, he strikes a desperate, dubious contract with the very man who turned his world upside down.
Forced proximity becomes the new normal when a government housing mix-up crams more shifters into his cramped quarters. What starts as a clash of personalities quickly evolves into a chaotic, messy, and deeply loyal found-family dynamic. As they navigate the harsh realities of a society that views their kind as second-class citizens, these imperfect characters must confront their own prejudices and the shadows of their pasts.
This is not your typical paranormal romance. It is a gritty, hilarious, and emotionally raw exploration of pack dynamics that balances dark, adult themes with moments of genuine tenderness. When a crisis threatens to destroy them, Cody must embrace a feral solution that risks everything. If you are looking for a shifter story that is as sexy as it is soul-searching, this journey is for you.

These characters are not cookie cutter romance tropes. They're the kind of imperfect, kooky characters that the first time you meet them you're left wondering, \"Who the heck are these guys?\" And yet, you find yourself intrigued and willing to hang out more just to figure them out, and by the end, you find yourself thoroughly enchanted with them all. The author has created a tough world for the characters to navigate in which lycanthropy is a disease that strikes at random. However, instead of...

Not the best at writing reviews. Just will say that I highly enjoyed reading this book. Great balance of sweet, silly, serious and sexy. )

This is the first book I've struggled to put down in years! The story is so interesting and the characters feel real with their flaws and imperfections. It makes you really want to keep reading to find out what happens to the characters! So many twists and turns in a fascinating world really helped, too. )

I enjoyed the book quite a bit, there were certain sections that went on a little long and some that I wished were longer but I liked it. But I loved it regardless. )
