Charity spent her life surviving the harsh streets of Chicago, believing she was just another girl chasing a dream of a better future. But when a college scholarship lands her in California and pulls her into a world of high-stakes parties, she discovers her reality is a lie. Vampires and shifters are not just myth—they are real, and they are hunting.
Thrown into the crossfire of an ancient war, Charity discovers she is a lost fae warrior with dormant, world-altering magic. Now, she is trapped between two dangerous factions. A cunning elder vampire wants to exploit her powerful bloodline, while a lethal alpha shifter is determined to protect her at all costs. She must navigate a deadly game of supernatural politics where trust is a luxury she cannot afford.
This gripping paranormal romance delivers the perfect blend of high-octane action, witty banter, and sizzling tension. K.F. Breene returns to the beloved Demon Days, Vampire Nights world with a fresh, fast-paced story that highlights the forced proximity and protective alpha tropes fans crave. If you are looking for a heroine who discovers her own unyielding strength while caught in a supernatural love triangle, this is your next obsession.

This had all the fabulously wonderful elements that have made K.F. Breene one of my favourite authors: witty dialogue, humour, plenty of action, a strong heroine, romance and a good dash of the paranormal.
