I started the spinoff series first and had to stop and go to this series so I would know all these characters and their back story. I really fell for the spinoff so I knew I would love this one. It took me a bit to warm up to some of these characters, but they definitely redeem themselves in book 2 even more ❤️ I connected with Lexi right away, I still want to know her previous life. There have been a lot of hints but nothing that explains her trauma. I hope we get that in book 2 or 3. I love...

I enjoyed this book and liked the storyline and characters. At first I was not too sure about things with how all the shifters were reacting to her and treating Rafe. I was not a fan of Ranger and his constant pushing and cockiness. Then when she was forced to move away from the first loving foster home and I was not happy. But... things begin to get better. Lexi starts to trust, accept help and see them for who they really are instead of what they presented at first. I loved Rafe. He is the...

Bite Me! Holy Rabies this book was a trip! Roller coaster of feels causing the best sort of literary whiplash. Finished in under 24hrs because I needed to know. Every character is exceptionally unique to themselves and leave imprints both good and bad (as warranted for a good book). The story and plot is so wonderfully woven and really “claims” you start to finish. I’ll immediately be diving headfirst into book two because WARNING CLIFF HANGER.. Big Time so with that… I’m off to read Book 2 -...

Oh my gosh I felt like i just read a cross between Twilight and True Blood only freaking better. Yes I said better than Meyers and Harris. I mean you through in the whole why choose element and you are definitely have the best book in the world. So if you love Twilight and True Blood, then you will freaking love this book. So once I started reading the book, I was immediately sucked into the town of Kiba. Why was I so invested in this book? Alexis, Rafferty, Ranger, Maverick and Galen. I mean...

I have mixed feelings about this book. The story was interesting and did keep my interest but I was not a fan of the writing style. The ending felt VERY rushed and some characters needed more connection and growth. There were some that seemed like they would be part of Alexis' harem and a major part of the story but then they seemed to just drop off suddenly and then we only got rare glimpses. It was a bit confusing. I will, probably, continue the series. I'm curious about Lexi's true nature...
