Tragic Bonds: The Bonds that Tie, Book 5

by Kasi Hollowell

About this book

The stakes have never been higher in this pulse-pounding installment of the paranormal romance saga. After being torn apart and pushed to the absolute brink, our group of shifters must navigate a landscape where they are no longer the hunters, but the hunted. With the blood of their loved ones staining the hands of their enemy, the line between vengeance and survival blurs. The god residing within the protagonist demands a reckoning that will cost more than just lives—it will demand a thousand souls.

This narrative masterfully leans into the addictive enemies-to-lovers trope, forcing characters to confront their deepest traumas and most volatile desires. As the group fights to recover from devastating losses, the tension between them crackles with raw intensity. You will find yourself utterly captivated by the complex evolution of characters like Nox Draven, whose dark past and fierce possessiveness add layers of emotional depth to an already high-octane plot.

If you are craving a series where the bonds are as unbreakable as they are tragic, this is your next obsession. It is a visceral, heart-wrenching, and exhilarating journey that proves some connections are worth dying for. Prepare to be consumed by a world where love is a weapon and revenge is the only path forward.

5-stars: 'Tragic Bonds' by J. Bree

November 4, 2022

I have officially fallen for Nox Draven after I finished reading Tragic Bonds. I knew I would eventually like his character, especially when J. Bree started to tell me about his past. I understand his character more, and I respect him. I also respect how Oli handled finding out about Nox’s traumatic past. If I were her, though, I would have gone berserk after realizing what had happened to him. I would have gone on a war path for him, but I know Nox Draven can handle himself. He does have those...

Update: I'm excited to adjust my rating to a 4-star read! It's been a couple of weeks since I finished the series, and I still find myself thinking about it, especially the captivating characters Oleander and North. While North wasn't my favorite MMC, there's something about him that's truly memorable. I still believe the books could be a bit more concise and perhaps condensed into fewer volumes, but I understand that the editing plays a big role in that. Overall, I'm grateful for the...

Rating: 10/5 🔥🔥🔥/5 “Not even death can keep us apart. Every part of you belongs to me, and I will tear any man apart who dares to get in my way. Bond or not.” This was my most anticipated read of the month, and the Queen J. Bree did not and will not disappoint!!! She can literally do no wrong in my eyes. I love everything that she writes, but this book definitely takes the cake. The relationship development I have been craving since book 1 completely flourished in this book, and I couldn’t...

A Series That Gets Better With Every Book!

June 29, 2022

The Bonds That Tie series is one of the best series that I have ever read. Ever. - Tragic Bonds is a masterpiece of a book. It has a perfect mixture of action, mystery, paranormal abilities, romance, spice, and suspense. This book picks up right where J left us hanging off the cliff in Forced Bonds. The Bonded group has changed so much since the first book, they are more confident in their abilities and with each other. Things are revealed in this book that explain so much. I absolutely adore...

God this series is incredible. I’m gonna start off with saying Gryphon is the most perfect Bonded of all time. I adore every single thing he does and says. Nox this book made me fully love him. Now that I finally know what his childhood trauma is it’s a lot easier to feel retroactive sympathy for him and his behavior and lashing out in the books before this. North, Gabe, and Atlas are as steady and supportive as ever and I loved the way the Bonded Group decided that they weren’t going to split...
