Fantastic Finale

This was a great ending (although I wish there were more for these characters—the next generation, perhaps). It was a good mix of new character development and new plot patterns, while still Maintain ing what I loved about the first two. The book also managed to leave me wondering until the end if I was even going to get a happy ending, even though I trusted the other would give me one—and, it wrapped it up slickly, without leaving it feeling rushed or over simplified. This is the BEST of the trilogy!! It wrapped everything up perfectly!! I thought this was a really unique concept. The beginning of the apocalypse, the dragons are the only ones who can save the earth. Leave it to Carson to come up with something completely original!! The characters are so complex. They completely touched my heart and made me feel so much for them. The characters showed monumental growth and I was so pleased with how they were able to grow from their pasts. All the stars. Seriously. All. Of. Them. I am sitting here sobbing, which I guess is what I get for reading someone's diary. I enjoyed this series so much. I will never forget Ember's, Riley, Willow, and Harper. Wrapping up this trilogy, Willow finally gets her HEA, and Malachy finally gets his love. This book started out HOT and then Malachy promptly ticked me off. Thankfully Willow was able to get him to pull his head out of his ass. I will never be able to recommend Heather K Carson books...
