Time Untime

by Sherrilyn Kenyon

About this book

Ancient myths and modern stakes collide in this pulse-pounding urban fantasy, where the fate of the world hangs in the balance of a single, impossible choice. Ren Waya is a Keetoowah warrior cursed by a dark history and an even darker prophecy. Having returned from the dead to prevent an apocalypse he helped set in motion millennia ago, he is a man defined by penance and lethal purpose. However, his mission is shattered when he encounters Kateri Avani, a scientist whose life has been haunted by visions of a man she has never met—until now.

This installment in the legendary Dark-Hunter series masterfully weaves Native American mythology into a high-stakes narrative. As a shifter who has fought his inner demons for centuries, Ren finds his resolve crumbling when he realizes Kateri holds the key to his redemption and his destruction. Their connection is a textbook example of a second-chance romance, forged in the fires of a past life that neither can fully escape.

Expect a gritty, dark-romance atmosphere where the chemistry is as dangerous as the supernatural threats lurking in the shadows. If you crave paranormal reads that blend epic world-building with intense, soul-deep longing, this is your next obsession.

Excellent Continuation to One of my favorite series

September 7, 2012

I'm a huge fan of sherilyn Kenyon, and every book just leaves me hungry for the next. This book is no exception. We were introduced to Ren in the last book, but the introduction was rather brief. But we got enough to know he is a tortured soul. This book shows us just how tortured he is, and how long he's been tortured. This guy is about the same age as Acheron, and has connections to three power sources, The tribe he was born with, the greeks from whom his mother comes, and the evil entity he...

Time UnTime, A Review for the Blog Bodice Rippers, Femme Fatales and Fantasy

August 8, 2012

Time UnTime is the latest book in Sherrilyn Kenyon's world of the Dark Hunters (for those of you who didn't know) As with all Kenyon books this one was much anticipated and once again Sherrie doesn't fail us. Time UnTime had a seriously different feel to it. It wasn't that quirky, crazy, silly dialog that Sherrie is famous for. It didn't have those sensual scenes that many of us blush over (hello, Talon on the bar).. It even lacks Daimons.. and yet it is a wonderful addition to the Dark...

Bringing the Native American mythology together with the Greek

August 9, 2012

Synopsis: Ren Waya is an old soul who almost destroyed the world, and he is still paying for it 11 thousand years later. Kateri Avani is a professor who is plagued by dreams of her past, and she doesn't know what they mean. With the threat of a looming apocalypse, they are thrown together to save the world. Can they save the world and each other? Review: I was a bit skeptical going into this book. There are so many Dark Hunter books now, the formulaic nature of the books is getting a bit...

Time Untime

I've been waiting for Time Untime for a VERY long time and it was totally worth the wait. Sherrylyn Kenyon did it again. This was an amazing book. I am a huge reader and a huge fan of Ms. Kenyon. LOVE all her Dark-Hunter novels. Time Untime continues after Retribution and the end of the world coming closer. It's main characters are Ren Waya and Kateri Avani. Although, reading Ren's background, did remind me a lot about Acheron, with his tortured past and horrible betrayals he faced, it was well...

Awesome. Period.

Though Time Untime isn't the first book in this series, it introduced me to the series, and DAYUM! is it good. By the way, as a side note, I suggest you read this first, and then Acheron and then work your way backwards through the series. AGE FACTOR; Adult adult adult. If you want a tasteful hot and steamy romance but where the hot and steamy is not the focal point then this series is it. PLOT: The plot is very nicely set up. It evoked different emotions in me throughout. You have ancient...
