The Witch's Daughter: A Fated Mates Wolf Shifter Romance (Fated Destinies II Book 1)

by Heather K. Carson

About this book

Being the hybrid daughter of a famous witch and a sigma wolf should make for a magical prodigy, but for one fiery shifter, it mostly means accidentally setting things on fire. As Halley’s Comet triggers a rare magic festival, a mysterious warlock begins hunting for powerful witches to fuel a dark ritual. Caught in his crosshairs, our heroine must embrace her volatile, broken magic before she becomes the final piece of a deadly sacrifice.

Sparks fly—literally—when she is forced to team up with Jaxon, the alpha wolf and childhood frenemy she has spent years trying to hate. This enemies-to-lovers dynamic is fueled by a complex history and a traitorous wolf that insists he is her fated mate. As they navigate intense pack dynamics and high-stakes danger, their second-chance connection becomes the only thing standing between their loved ones and an ancient, blood-soaked threat.

If you are looking for a paranormal romance that perfectly balances humor, high-stakes action, and smoldering chemistry, this is your next obsession. Heather K. Carson delivers a fast-paced journey of self-discovery and found-family that proves sometimes you have to go down in flames to find exactly where you belong.

This book is fantastic!! Heather Carson truly gives us another reason to keep coming back , again and again!!! This one does not disappoint!! I love the characters and the continuation of family in this book which also created some witty banter going on between them.Jaxon just can’t seem to get the right words out of his mouth for that stubborn female!! Tisiphone ( Trish) has struggled with her powers , family ties, and her heart ,while Jaxon knows his heart desperately needing a push. This...

I enjoyed this book. Good character development with the FMC growing and learning about herself. The MMC was steadfast in his dedication to her. The story remained funny and engaging with banter amongst all of the characters. )

In this book we get to know Trish...

I love this soapy tropey dystopian fantasy series!

April 24, 2026

The Witch’s Daughter is a fun and medium-dark dystopian fantasy with a spicy romance between two magic-wielding wolf shifters. It’s got laughs, angst, yearning, magic, evil villains trying to destroy everything, and powerful heroines with their growly, protective men. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ One of my favorite things about this series is how these books flirt the line of realistic fantasy dystopia and soap opera ridiculousness. They are over the top in the best of ways, and there’s so many feels. Sometimes...

Solid start for this 2nd generation series

April 17, 2026

4.5 stars rounding up. Great start to a new 2nd generation series. Can definitely be read without having read the previous series, but having that background information does help. M/F shifter/witch, second chance, he falls first and harder, slight distopian/dark themes. Its a shifter book, so there is some violence and blood, alpha, fated mates, pack dynamics. MC, Jaxson, has always known \"Trish\" was his, but did what he thought she needed and kept himself back until events at the Halley's...
