A Frost Filled Christmas (Ribbon Series)

For a century, a silent, lethal guardian has haunted his fields, serving as a grim omen to anyone foolish enough to trespass. He is a creature of soil and scythe, a shifter bound to the land, content in his solitary, terrifying existence. That is, until Delilah, a sheltered city girl with no concept of rural survival, inherits the farm. To the monster, she is nothing but a blight on his harvest, and he is determined to drive her away with pure, unadulterated fear.
The tension shifts when a flock of malevolent crows descends, forcing the unlikely pair into a dangerous proximity. When Delilah cowers behind him, pleading for her life, something ancient and possessive awakens within the beast. His desire to terrify her is instantly replaced by a savage need to protect what he now considers his own.
This historical paranormal romance offers a unique, atmospheric take on the monster genre. While Delilah’s impulsive nature provides plenty of dramatic tension, their volatile chemistry creates a compelling slow-burn that eventually ignites into intense spice. If you are craving a dark, supernatural tale where the protector is just as monstrous as the threats he faces, this standalone duet entry is your next must-read obsession.

There's quite often a time where there is a fl in a book, that just annoys the living crap out of you. And this is one. It's like the \"don't go in that room!\" And they go in that room, or \"run away from the scary monster!\" And they just stand there and stare at it. But the most annoying female leads are when, you end up witnessing a magical world... And you wanna go home..? Like... Whyyyy? Why would you want normal after that? I mean, they eventually get their HEA, after annoying the crap...

This book was great and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I hope the series continues with more additions. It has a perfect balance of conflict and spice. This ensures that it feels like a traditional book with a plot. Despite that, it still has plenty of spice to keep things steamy. Many authors cannot achieve this balance. I often find myself skipping pages as more steam is the only thing in sight but you want to know the characters better. This book is not like that. I happily read every page and...

I’ll be honest - my friend recommended this book and I was, to my present shame, very skeptical so it languished on my TBR for months. However, it’s so well done, the characters are so relatable, and the plot so well-rounded and intriguing that I found myself enthralled. Great, enjoyable read with a sweet romance, the perfect amount of spice, and plenty of magic. I highly recommend it - especially around Halloween. ;) ) One person found this helpful

It started off really strong, I was so into it until about 60% through. The spicy bits were good but they took up a good chunk of the book and I feel it derailed too much from the plot. The ending was summed up sooo quick with a ton of left out answers. Idk i really wanted to love it, it had so much more potential. I did love the characters and the detailed imagery but I was hoping for a little more oomph plot wise. All the mysterious plot build up just to sail through it in a couple paragraphs...
